Spain’s Telefonica to invest 1.5 billion US dollars in Peru

Spain’s Telefonica is to invest 1.5 billion US dollars in Peru between 2010 and 2013 to put in place a new fiber-optic network that will improve Internet coverage in the country’s Andean region.
